She supplies all the equipment (plus water and snacks), but you get an $8 discount if you have your own bike and helmet.

KAYAKING (pg.298-300)
... Instructor/leader Judy Keim has been exploring the coastline by kayak and bike since 1974. She loves to share her knowledge of nature with others and specializes in the coastline from Gaviota to Carpinteria. She also has great stories to tell-She's married to a fourth-generation Santa Barbaran and knows a lot about the history, famous people and interesting local tidbits. You kayak in an open cokpit, self-bailing boat (no roll required). Anyone who knows how to swim and is in good health can sign up, but Judy generally recommends that beginners start out in the harbor, where there aren't any waves. A two-hour trip (for example from the harbor to Butterfly Beach and back) costs $38 per person. Three-hour trips are $48, and half-day tours are $58. Full-day tours cost $100 per person. The price includes your kayak, paddle, life jacket, helmet and guide escort. If you have your own kayak, you get an $8 discount. Judy will customize tours to your interests and skill levels. She can arrange overnight tours, for example from Gaviota to El Capitan, overnight at the campgrounds and paddle back to Gaviota the next day. She also offers kayak/bike combination tours and bike-only tours (see our Recreation chapter for biking tour info).
